Doughboys with a tie

I don't see many Great War photos with an American soldier wearing a tie. Especially such a wide one. He is wearing M1910 leggings so it does put him the WWI era.

Here is a doughboy with a more respectable tie. He is wearing M1917 leggings while the soldier to his right has M1910 Leggings on. Both cards are undated and printed in America.

Two infantrymen at a stateside camp. This photo may predate the war as they are wearing M1907 leggings rarely worn in France. They also have on campaign hats that did not make it to France. The M1903 Springfield rifles were adopted by the army in 1905.

Motor Transport Corps

An undated photo of a member of the Motor Transport Corps. Taken between 1918 and 1920 the period of time the M.T.C. existed although the canvas leggins would put my guess at 1918. The M.T.C. was responsible for bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, and trucks.
