A sergeant with his family. He has a Queen's South Africa medal given for his service in the Boer War. The clasps are hard to read but they might be South Africa 1901, Transvaal, Orange Free State and Cape Colony.

These gentlemen are wearing the model 1915 bluse. The Bavarian War Ministry opted to keep the collar the same color as the uniform. The Prussian War Ministry adopted a dark green collar.

Lancashire Fusiliers

There were 30 battalions of Lancashire Fusiliers seeing service during the war. They saw action at Gallipoli as well as the Western Front. Eighteen Lancashire Fusiliers were awarded the Victoria Cross.
