Model 1915 Bluse

These gentlemen are wearing the model 1915 bluse. The Bavarian War Ministry opted to keep the collar the same color as the uniform. The Prussian War Ministry adopted a dark green collar.

Karl Pöpping

Karl Pöpping is a non-commissioned officer as indicated by the button on his collar. The smaller size of them would mean he was a Gefreiter.

Suffolk Regiment

A total of twenty three battalions of The Suffolk Regiment were raised during the war.
