Artillery Damage
No written explanation on this card. It looks like someone took a picture showing the artillery damage just above the bed they were sleeping in.

Breech Cover
A poor quality photo but one of the few I have seen where the rifles are fitted with a breech cover. This also makes the rifles difficult to identify. I believe they are M1917 Endfields.
The soldiers here are marching through an American town. They are lucky enough to have trucks to carry their packs.

Railroad Repair
A narrow gauge track runs along the main tracks being repaired by these German troops. They are close enough to the front to warrant a screen to shield they from the sight of the enemy.
