Unfortunately the card with the single Corporal is not marked so there is no telling with certainly who is Thompson and who is Williams.

The collar insignia is a bit blurry but I think he was in the 2nd Regiment, Company B.

Two at camp

Two infantrymen at a stateside camp. This photo may predate the war as they are wearing M1907 leggings rarely worn in France. They also have on campaign hats that did not make it to France. The M1903 Springfield rifles were adopted by the army in 1905.
