Gaar Ingels, 75th Artillery C.A.C.


Gaar Ingels of La Fayette, Illinois played the euphonium with the 75th Artillery C.A.C. Here his is in Saint-Nazarie France in January, 1919. The regiment arrived too late to see combat and returned to America in March of 1919.
This card is unusual in that the photo is glued to a postcard instead of being printed on postcard paper.

    Thank you so much for sharing this photo. I believe my grandfather, Albert Hickstein, who was also in the 75th Artillery as a musician, is also pictured.
