Marching Through a French Town

Near as I can tell this photo was taken in 1909. The poster of the wall is for the play La Beaute du Diable which was written in 1908. A 1909 copy of Le Petit Parisien advertises the play being performed that year.
Many of the soldiers here have a neck cover on their kepis. A few have a kepi cover.
