Awaiting Arrival of General Allenby
The British entered Constantinople the day after the French in November of 1918. This picture, taken in January of 1919, shows the Army of Occupation waiting for General Allenby.

149è Régiment d'Infanterie
Seven members of the 149th Infantry regiment wearing corduroy trousers. These were issued after the red trousers were deemed impractical and before the horizon blue became the norm.

133rd Pioneer Battalion
A card from Franz to his Mother Bertha Kleemann. Franz was with the 133rd Pioneer Battalion which was part of the 35th Division. Early 1917 would find them near Chaulnes, France.

Wilhelm Röder
