Identified on the back as Harry, this soldier is part of the US Army Medical Corps. The picture was taken in France.

Somewhere in France

Two portraits of American servicemen which appear to be taken at the same location at different times of the year. Standing in the snow is Private L. L. Plottres(?) of Marion, Ohio. He was with the 42nd Rainbow Division. His may be the latter of the two pictures as he has an overseas service chevron on his sleeve.
Below him is Henry H. Wagner of Cooleemee, North Carolina. He was a member of the Medical Corps.

Harry M. Davis

A member of the US Army Medical Corps he would have been working out of Base Hospital 27 which was located in the Mongazon Seminary in Angers. Over 19,000 cases were admitted into the hospital starting in late 1917 until the end of the war.
