241st Reserve Infantry Regiment
Two members of the 241st Reserve Infantry Regiment early in the war. They would have been off to Belgium in 1914.

93e Régiment d'Infanterie
A group from the 93th Infantry Regiment. Many of them wear the Grenadier's insignia. The soldier on the far left with the saw and axe has the specialty insignia of a sapper. Three of them have been awarded the Croix de Guerre.

William Brugam Jr.
There is a draft card for William Brugam Jr. so this may be addressed to his father who is listed as next of kin. Born August 14 1896 William would have been about 21 at the time of this picture. He survived the war passing in 1968 at the age of 71.
