Royal Garrison Artillery

A veteran group from the Royal Garrison Artillery. A majority of them have overseas service stripes. Among the insignia that can be seen are skill-at-arms badges for Gun Layer and Signaler, trade badges for Artillery and one for a Saddler & Collarmaker. A couple of them also have wound stripes.

Inchcolm

This member of the Royal Garrison Artillery was stationed at Inchcolm, an island in the Firth of Forth. Inchcolm was fortified during the war to protect Edinburgh and the naval base at Rosyth.

Englander Koch

According to the front this Englishman was a mess cook at Wurm in 1918. The back read "Mr. Kaufmann Christmas 1918-easter 1919". Perhaps he was on occupation duty during that time.
